GlamGora — Privacy Policy

GlamGora Technologies ("we", "us", "our") operates the GlamGora Customer app and the GlamGora Partner app (together, the "Apps"). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

• Phone number — used to create your account and verify you via OTP.
• Name and profile details — such as your name, gender, and profile photo, provided by you.
• Location — used to show you nearby salons (Customer app) or to display your salon's location to customers (Partner app). You can decline location access; some features may then be limited.
• Booking and payment information — service bookings, appointment history, and payment status (processed by our payment partner; see Section 3).
• Device information — such as a push-notification token, used to send you booking updates and reminders.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To let you book, manage, and track salon appointments
• To show you nearby salons and services (Customer app)
• To process payments and subscriptions
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and service updates via push notification
• To operate our GlamCoins rewards program

3. Third-Party Services

Our Apps integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Cashfree — a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details ourselves; these are handled directly and securely by Cashfree.
• Firebase (Google) — used for push notifications and app-stability (crash) reporting.
• Cloudinary — used for secure image storage (e.g. profile and salon photos).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Limited information (such as your name and booking details) is shared between the Customer app and the relevant Partner (salon) only as needed to fulfil a booking.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure, access-controlled storage.

6. Your Choices

• You can update your profile information within the app at any time.
• You can disable location or notification permissions from your device settings.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 8).

7. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
